South of Hwy 20 on the West side of town, The Rock County Fairgrounds & the Bassett City Park areas are available for a number of activities. Below you find some additional information about our Camping, Fishing, & Gun Range facilities.
Camping Info & Maps
Camping areas are first come first serve.
There are several RV & camping areas with electricial hook ups throughout the City Park & Fairgrounds areas.
Volts of 120/240 & 20/50 Amp receptacles. Some locations have AV, audio/visual, cord plugs. There are also several hydrants throughout the City Park & Fairgrounds for access to water & there is sewage waste access by the bathrooms. All donations are to be made out to the Rock County Ag Society.
NOTE - Spaces are very limited during events such as the Sandhills Ranch Expo in June, the Rock County Fair at the end of August, & the High School Rodeo the following weekend in August. Please call City Hall for more details or to check dates.
Fishing Ponds & Gun Range
The Fishing Ponds & Gun Range areas are West of the fairgrounds.
Doc Middleton Pond is to the North East & Kid Wade Pond is to the South West.
The 2 Gun Range lanes are South of the Ponds.
