The Jane Keller Memorial Art Show, hosted by the Bassett Arts Council, will be held at Bassett’s Old Highway City Hall Meeting Room. Use the West facing doors! Open Entries will be accepted April 7th & 8th from 5pm to 8pm. Closed Judging April 9th. Open to the Public for viewing: April 10th from 5pm-8pm & on Saturday & Sunday April 11th & 12th from 10am-5pm. Artist must pick up their works on Sunday. Last Day to pick up decorations at Bassett Memorial Park Cemetery
Note:
Anything that is added or placed, on or around a grave site or stone, is done so, at your own risk. Planting flowers, trees, shrubs, anything glass, or dirt removal is NOT permitted! Anything that is not permanently fixed or attached to the marker or stone could be a risk. The City of Bassett is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged decorations. Solar lights, shepherds’ hooks, & ornamental stakes are permitted between Memorial Day to the 1st Monday of June only.
If you would like to provide your own Perpetual Care, please contact Bassett City Hall. Maintenance at the Cemetery is usually very good, but there are instances which neither we nor you can control, like the weather. Please feel free to give us a call if you see something amiss so we can address it.
Sandhills Ranch EXPO
The Sandhills Ranch Expo is held at the Rock County Fairgrounds in June of each year. Craft & Vendor Show is held at the Rock County High School on the same days as Expo. Visit their site for more information.

High School Rodeo
Starting on Friday the 7th & running all weekend long, is the High School Rodeo at the Rock County Fairgrounds!
Bassett's Trunk-Or-Treat
Join us Dowtown! Local businesses & organizations set up along a 2 blocks in downtown Bassett for kids to Trunk-Or-Treat on October 31st between 4-5pm. Kids Costume Parade at 5pm.
JAM with Lyle Anthony for New Years! - Bassett Arts Council Event
Join the Bassett Arts Council for an evening with Lyle Anthony & friends at the New Years Eve JAM at the Rock County Senior Center from 6pm to Midnight. Come! Enjoy! Participate! Snacks & Coffee provided or bring your own treat to share! Classic Country, Christmas, & Holiday music will bring in the New Year. Free Will Donations accepted.
Rock County Ag Society Fundraiser
Check out their website for more information on the fliers they ahve posted, on how to purchase tickets or come later on that evening to enjoy the dance! Help the RC Ag Society raise money for projects in the coming years.

BAC Get Your Watercolor Paint On w/Sherry Jarvis

BAC hosts NE Brass quintet
The Nebraska Brass (quintet) will be in town, Sept 26th, 2025, for an hour long concert, held at the St. Peters Lutheran Church at 7pm. Free will offering at the door, which will be split 50/50 with the Church. Check out their FB page: https://www.facebook.com/nebraskabrass

BAC Dance Fundraiser
Come join us in a night of dancing, drinks, fun, raffle, & prizes! Help support your local Bassett Arts Council so they can continue to provide programs for everyone in our area! Lori Lush & Bittersweet Band will be set up by 7pm & will play through 11pm. Doors open at 630pm, $10 per person, cash or check at the door. The Bar will be open to purchase drinks during the event.
